Iberia opens a new call for experienced pilots

Iberia will proceed to hire experienced pilots, with all that this entails for the Spanish aeronautical labor market, in which Iberia has always acted as a “locomotive” of the sector, meaning that Iberia not only hires pilots directly, but also encourages other companies to take action and, in turn, issue more calls for applications.

For now, these are the requirements for this new Iberia call specifically:

  • Dates: From July 8, 2025 to December 31, 2025 in Madrid
  • Minimum level of academic studies: Passed university entrance exam or completed studies that allow access to university.
  • Minimum flight license level: ATPL(A) frozen EASA part FCL and MCC.
  • Minimum experience level: 500 hours of flight time in an aircraft with CS-25 certification or equivalent, performing pilot-operator duties at the time of application submission.
  • Minimum language level: Certificate of linguistic proficiency in English level 4 and Spanish level 5.
  • Right to work in the European Union and an unrestricted passport.
  • Criminal record certificate.
  • Valid class 1 medical certificate.
  • Height: minimum 157 cm and maximum 191 cm.

Pilots interested in this opportunity can apply on the company’s website by clicking this link.

As is often the case with Iberia’s pilot applications, there will be intense competition for positions, as this is one of the most coveted positions among professionals in the Spanish aeronautical sector.

Good luck to all the candidates!
