Emirati airline Etihad Airways has organized an international tour to recruit hundreds of pilots to cope with the expansion of its fleet, currently made up of Airbus A320, A350, and A380 models, as well as Boeing 777 and 787.
The tour will visit eight European cities: Larnaca (Cyprus); Sofia (Bulgaria); Tirana (Albania); Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca (Romania); Budapest (Hungary); Warsaw (Poland) and Vilnius (Lithuania), before continuing outside the old continent.
Etihad is looking for pilots of all ranks, experience, and status, and has even encouraged ATPL students who have not yet completed their airline pilot training to apply, such is the need for aviators in an era when a “pilot drought” has become a reality for almost all operators.
